Beijing in 3 Days/ Pekin w 3 Dni.
You can see most of Beijing within three days. For working and busy travelers, I would recommend a fast and intensive program when coming to see the Chinese capital.
Day 1: Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Takes about 1 to 1.5 hours, a one-way drive from Beijing.
Day 2: Qianmen, Tiananmen, Forbidden City, Coal Mountain following a trip to the Temple of Heaven. Warning - to buy tickets to the Forbidden City you need to have your passport with you.
Day 3: Summer Palace, Lama Temple, and the Hutong District.
This program shows Beijing in all of its beauty and contains its most important sites, including my favorite, the Lama Temple - a functioning Buddhist Temple in the city center. But Beijing offers much more to explore.
I would recommend sightseeing with a tour guide. You can learn much more than from the book and the hidden bonus is that you don't need to wait in line to buy tickets. Most tour guides will tell you that such an intensive program is not possible to do within three days, but trust me, it is. Even more, you will still have time for additional activities. The cost of an English-speaking local tour guide is about 100USD per day (about 6RMB=1USD) Polish-speaking guide will cost around 200-400 USD per day. The cost of the touring car (minivan with driver) is about 120USD per day, the trip to the Great Wall is about 150USD.
We always start our sightseeing as early as possible in the morning around 8 am and take a lunch break at around 13-13:30. Restaurants tend to be less busy than as everyone eats lunch at around 12. We then sit down with our tour guide and continue discussing the sites or learning about the local cuisine.
I would recommend hotels in Sanlitun in the center of Beijing, where you can take a tuk-tuk to many places and is walking distance from restaurants and bars in the evening. I will post more information about restaurants and hotels in my next posts.

Staramy się zacząć zwiedzanie jak najwcześniej, ok 8 rano, z przerwa na lunch około 13-13.30. W tym czasie restauracje będą bardziej dostępne, gdyż w Chinach wszyscy jedzą lunch zazwyczaj około godz. 12.00 Warto zaprosić przewodnika na lunch celem kontynuowania poznawania Chin w trakcie rozmowy.
