Dreams Del Estrecho Hotel, Punta Arenas, Chile.
Our flight from Santiago de Chile to Punta Arenas lasted 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, we were picked up by a guide- Patricia and drove to the Hotel Dreams Del Estrecho - the best hotel in the city.
The rooms were large, clean, and had a breath-taking view of the Strait of Magellan and the Land of Fire. It is definitely a large touristic hotel, 5 stars they claim, is rather exaggerated. However, the views and its location (close to all of the restaurants and the city center), compensate for its shortcomings in quality.
I recommend taking a look at the top floor, where there is a bar with panoramic views of the Punta Arenas and the Strait of Magellan. Unfortunately, the service in the bar was very slow and not up to the standards. The hotel has a swimming pool, casino, and spa.
Try to book your room on the higher floors, so that you have panoramic views. For dinner, it is worth going out to one of the nice, local restaurants. The hotel buffet is too crowded and the food is average. I recommend Parrilla Los Ganaderos for more info click here.

Lot z Santiago de Chile do Punta Arenas trwał 3,5 h. Po przylocie odebrała nas przewodniczka Patrycja i zawiozła do Hotelu Dreams Del Estrecho, najlepszego hotelu w okolicy.
Pokoje były duże, czyste i miały zapierający dech w piersiach widok na Cieśninę Magellana i Ziemię Ognistą. Jest to zdecydowanie duży turystyczny hotel, który na pewno nie ma standardu hotelu 5 gwiazdkowego, ale widoki oraz jego położenie, bardzo blisko restauracji i centrum miasta, rekompensują niedociągnięcia w jakości.
Warto zajrzeć na ostatnie piętro, gdzie znajduje się bar z panoramicznymi widokami na Punta Arenas oraz Cieśninę Magellana. Niestety serwis w barze również nie należał do najszybszych. W hotelu jest basen, kasyno i spa.
Postaraj się zarezerwować pokój na jak najwyższym piętrze, aby mieć panoramiczny widok na Cieśninę. Rekomenduje, aby na kolacje wyjść do jednej z okolicznych restauracji, jako że w hotelu jest dużo ludzi a serwowane jedzenie, przeciętne. Polecam Parrilla Los Ganaderos więcej informacji tutaj.
