This beautiful hacienda invites you to a magical world combining pre-Columbian traditions with the Catholic religion.
The “ofrendas” - has roots in the tradition of peoples who have lived in Mexico for thousands of years and “Dia de Los Muertos” is the quintessence of the merger of two Christian and pre-Columbian cultures. This home and the vast knowledge of the hosts help to understand the world more than any book.
El Eden is very well located only a few steps from the Main Square, restaurants, shops, and churches. This location was very convenient as the town was extremely crowded during those days.
The focal point of the house is a beautiful large patio, from which you enter the dining room, 2 spacious living rooms, kitchen, and bedrooms. The patio was decorated with beautiful orange marigold flowers, at the entrance, there was an altar or "ofrenda" prepared with much care and thought to welcome back the loved ones who left.
The house has 7 rooms each with a bathroom, cable TV, Wifi, fireplace, and hall. I liked that all the rooms are painted in different colors and decorated with many old souvenirs and paintings.
The hosts were very welcoming and made our stay unforgettable. I think this was a fantastic and unique experience.

Ta przepiękna hacjenda zaprasza cię do magicznego świata łączącego tradycje prekolumbijską z religią katolicką
„Ofrenda” ma korzenie w tradycji ludów żyjących w Meksyku od tysięcy lat a „Dia de los Muertos” to kwintesencja połączenia dwóch kultur chrześcijańskiej i prekolumbijskiej.
Dom i ogromna wiedza gospodarzy pomagają zrozumieć ten świat bardziej niż niejedna książka.
El Eden jest bardzo dobrze położony jedynie kilka kroków od Rynku Głównego, restauracji, sklepów i kościołów co umożliwia zwiedzanie miasta wyłącznie na piechotę.
Centralnym punktem domu jest piękne duże patio, z którego wchodzi się do jadalni, 2 przestronnych salonów, kuchni i sypialni. Z okazji święta patio zostało ozdobione pomarańczowymi kwiatami nagietka, a przy wejściu postawiono ołtarz - „ofrende”, która miała za zadanie zachęcić dusze zmarłych przodków do odwiedzin.
Dom ma 7 pokoi każdy z łazienką, telewizją kablową, Wi-Fi, kominkiem i holem. Podobało mi się, że wszystkie pokoje pomalowane są na różne kolory i ozdobione wieloma starymi pamiątkami i obrazami.
Gospodarze byli bardzo gościnni i zadbali abyśmy mieli niezapomniany weekend.
Według mnie było to ciekawe i wyjątkowe doświadczenie.
