The Grand Isle Resort and Spa is surrounded by the golf course and consists of a circle of different types of apartments, some including a sea view, and some not. We booked an apartment with the view of the ocean included, however, were disappointed to find out that there was not available, so we had to stay overnight at a different apartment and change the next day.
All apartments are quite spatial, have a well-equipped kitchen, rooms are big and clean. Each apartment has its own golf cart which is of your use, for 20usd per day, and it allows you to drive around the shore and golf course looking at the beautiful scenery of the ocean.
The service in the resort was satisfactory, however, some people had an unnecessary attitude. In the resort, there is only one Restaurant Palapa. The food was not spectacular but the drinks served while you rested on the beach or by the pool were exceptional.
Ośrodek Grand Isle Resort and Spa leży w centrum pola golfowego i ma różne rodzaje apartamentów, z widokiem na morze, ogród, port lub drogę. Przyjeżdżając do Grand Isle Resort spodziewaliśmy się apartamentu z widokiem na ocean, byliśmy bardzo rozczarowani, gdy okazało się, że pokoje z widokiem nie są dostępne, pomimo iż mieliśmy taki zarezerwowany. Po długich negocjacjach z menedżerem ustaliliśmy, iż przeniesiemy się do apartamentu z widokiem następnego dnia.
Wszystkie apartamenty są przestronne, mają dobrze wyposażoną kuchnię, pokoje są duże i czyste. Każdy apartament ma swój własny melex (wózek golfowy), który można wypożyczyć za 20usd dziennie. My bardzo lubiliśmy jeździć melexem po okolicy i polu golfowym podziwiając piękną scenerię oraz widoki.
Obsługa w ośrodku była zadowalająca, jednak niektórzy ludzie byli nieuprzejmi i niechętni do pomocy. W Resorcie jest jedna restauracja - Palapa Restaurant. Jedzenie nie było spektakularne, ale napoje serwowane podczas odpoczynku na plaży lub przy basenie były wyjątkowe.
