Mari Vanna is a fantastic Russian cuisine restaurant in New York. The interior is designed in old fashion Russian style with dimmed lighting, and pictures, writings and many other decorations on the walls. The food is absolutely lovely, the blinis, borsch, pelmeni, and vareniki are exquisite. I recommend sharing the dishes, but if you prefer personal ones there is a menu full of them. It’s a great taste of Russian cuisine, and if you can, definitely taste their home-made flavored vodka’s. Make sure to have a reservation, especially on weekends.
