If you have only one day it is worth to visit downtown area with the famous Cosmovitral - the world's largest stained glass window atrium with the botanical garden inside and Nevado de Toluca, a beautiful volcano of 4680m, which is one hour and a half drive from Toluca. When you reach the parking zone of The Natural Park there are 2 options: you can walk for 5 hours to reach the pick or drive almost to the top, this is possible only until the end of November. From that point, to reach the peak you need only 30 minutes’ walk. At the peak, you can walk around two spectacular lakes surrounded by volcanic mountains.

Po dotarciu do wjazdu na parking rezerwatu mamy do wyboru 2 opcje dotarcia na szczyt: idąc pieszo (około 5 godzin), lub wjechać samochodem prawie na samą górę, (wjazd jest możliwy jedynie do końca listopada). Stamtąd, aby osiągnąć szczyt, pozostaje nam jedynie 30 minut marszu. Na szczycie można spacerować wokół dwóch przepięknych jezior otoczonych wulkanicznymi górami podziwiając niepowtarzalne widoki.
