Restaurant San Cristobal Panoramic is located on the roof of Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Havana. It offers a stunning view over Old Havana. This beautiful restaurant specializes in Caribbean Seafood. We had dinner twice inside the restaurant and later drinks on the terrace near the swimming pool. We had the fresh lobster ceviche, Tuna tartar, light prawn and squid risotto with a glass of Pecorino white wine. All was fine for Havana standards. If you want to treat yourself

We popped in at lunch at No Name Saloon and it was super busy. Luckily, we grabbed a table on the first floor! Excellent Chicken wings and probably the Best Buffalo Sliders we have ever had. Very good and quick service. The Bar has fantastic lively, happy, and casual atmosphere. There are big screens to watch sport events. I loved the interior design full of historical paraphernalia covering the walls and hanging from the ceiling (see my photos). Pricing was fairer than most
Casuarina's staff was amazing. Very kind and respectful. The chef (Karen) make delicious food and anything that we requested which involved going shopping. We loved all she prepared especially the pizza prepared in a special pizza oven. The waiter (Omar) was super friendly, very polite, and had a great sense of humor. The ladies who helped with the laundry and cleaning were very organized and also discreet. More about Casuarina villa here Jamaica in 14 days-what to do more he
Our flight from Santiago de Chile to Punta Arenas lasted 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, we were picked up by a guide- Patricia and drove to the Hotel Dreams Del Estrecho - the best hotel in the city. The rooms were large, clean, and had a breath-taking view of the Strait of Magellan and the Land of Fire. It is definitely a large touristic hotel, 5 stars they claim, is rather exaggerated. However, the views and its location (close to all of the restaurants and the city center), com
We found Big D's on our way to Shoreline Restaurant. We loved the colorful decor, casual look, and fun atmosphere so we decided to come back. We came back the next day for late lunch, we ordered red snapper, chicken wings, and grouper. Our food was good but our drinks were so sweet that we had to change them. Some of the dishes listed in the menu were not available, including sparkling water, but I'm sure this is common on the island as getting supplies is not always easy. Th
Finally, we arrived in the Bahamas! While staying at the beautiful Grand Isle Resort, attracted by the advertising of the local cultural show and live music, we booked Palapa Restaurant for dinner. It is the only restaurant in Grand Isle Resort. As we were hungry after the long trip we tried to dine 30 minutes earlier. It appeared to be a problem, finally, after an unproductive conversation, the manager kindly agreed to accept us earlier. To our surprise the place was half em
High West Distillery Park City is gastro-distillery - the first in the state since 1870 – which serves its signature craft spirits, a wide range of whiskeys alongside with American bar food like burgers, mac 'n' cheese and chicken pot pie. The laid-back space has an upscale, barnlike look with lots of dark wood, exposed-beam ceilings, and cool lighting. The waiter was super friendly and seating was fast but we came around 4 pm. If you came later often you have to wait to be s
Today we stopped for a lunch at Odeon Restaurant in Antara Fashion Hall.
We ordered garlic soup which was served with raw egg, homemade Cesar Salad (see separate post), Caprese salad, and chicken breast in oriental style with potatoes and mushroom salsa.
Mozzarella tasted a little different than in Europe but was very tasty.
In the end, the espresso was served in typical Italian style with soda water on the side.
We enjoyed the food a lot. Everything was delicious. More abou
Beautifully located hotel on the hill overlooking Taxco Town and surrounding mountains. Very well connected with the City by the Cable Car (swiss made). The hotel is spacious, lively, rooms are well equipped comfortable, and clean. Before the first night, we were thinking to go back to town to hit local restaurants and bars. To our surprise staying at the hotel was so much fun that we did not leave and stayed till 2 am in the hotel bar where we found the great local band play
The Salón Tenampa is a well-known place in Mexico City where people are coming since 1925 to enjoy a rich and colorful Mexican atmosphere, with foods such as birria, pozole and tacos, tequila drinks, and mariachi music played by a few groups at the same time. Salón Tenampa, became a major nightspot in the 1920s when Cirilo Marmolejo and his mariachi band started playing there regularly. During the Golden Age of Mexican cinema (the 1930s to the 1950s), because of the genre of
Escamoles eggs or ant larvae is a dish native to Central Mexico, once considered a delicacy by the Aztecs—insect caviar As far as insect-related pre-Hispanic foods go, this one is better than it sounds. The taste is similar to polish cottage cheese or nuts, very delicate. Often pan-fried with butter and spices, escamoles can be found in tacos and omelets or served alone, accompanied by guacamole and tortillas. It’s a tasty and memorable dish and contains many nutritional valu
