When leaving the boat, we had to clean our shoes with salt as we were entering the protected park once again. I went to Punta Arenas in Chile last January and stayed at the Dreams del Estrecho hotel. On the way from Cajon del Maipo, you can stop for a short break in San Alfonso to see Casa Chocolate. It is a house and boutique shop where you can see and buy many products created by local artists.
