Hotel Rio Serrano, Torres Del Paine, Patagonia, Chile
We stayed at the Hotel Rio Serrano to spend the night close to the Torres del Paine national park. The hotel had panoramic views of the towers and the river, which compensated for its basic interior. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean – one large disadvantage of this hotel was that it could be booked only in an all-inclusive option: with breakfast and dinner. Downstairs there was a lobby and bar.
To stay in any other hotels in the area you have to pre-book well in advance.
At the end of the day, our tour guide Patricia and our driver Christian surprised us with a famous local drink called Pisco Sour. They made it on the spot and used ice from a nearby glacier. More information about how to make Pisco Sour drink here.

Aby przenocować w pobliżu Parku Torres del Paine wybraliśmy hotel Rio Serrano. Piękne panoramiczne widoki na góry, rzekę i rozlegle łąki, rekompensowały prosty i nieco surowy wystrój hotelu. Pokoje były duże z ładnymi łazienkami, jedyna wadą hotelu bylo to, iż można go zarezerwować jedynie w opcji all-inclusive, ze śniadaniem i obiado-kolacją. Na dole jest przestronny hol z sofami oraz bar.
Aby zatrzymać się w innych hotelach w okolicy, w sezonie, czyli w miesiącach od grudnia do lutego, należy dokonać rezerwacji z bardzo dużym wyprzedzeniem.
Pod koniec dnia, nasza przewodniczka Patrycja wraz z kierowcą Christian zaskoczyli nas, przygotowując słynny lokalny napój o nazwie Pisco Sour. Zrobili to na miejscu, w hotelowym lobby i użyli lodu z pobliskiego lodowca. Więcej informacji jak zrobić Pisco Sour Drink tutaj.
